Dr. Kevin Pruiett
Director of Bands
A Paris native, Dr. Pruiett received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Millikin University, a Master's in trumpet performance from Eastern Illinois University, and a Doctorate in trumpet performance from the University of Illinois. After teaching 13 years at the university level, he moved back to his hometown in 2014 to direct the PHS band program. Dr. Pruiett is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education, and the International Trumpet Guild.
Director of Bands

Jessica Hendrickson
Assistant Director of Bands
Mrs. Jessica Hendrickson currently serves as the choir director and assistant director of bands at Paris High School. Her duties include the PHS Concert Choir, Elite Harmony, Mayo Middle School choir, as well as assisting Dr. Pruiett with the Paris High School bands. Mrs. Hendrickson studied music education with a horn emphasis at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Master's in Music Education from the University of Illinois. Prior to teaching at Paris, she served as the Director of Music Activities at Freeburg Community High School. Mrs. Hendrickson is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education. She enjoys spending time with her family and her three pitbulls “Flamacue”, “Wheezy”, and “Riggs”.

Jonathon Boren
Percussion Technician
A former Marching Tiger and Paris graduate, Mr. Jonathon Boren received his Bachelor's in Music Education from Indiana State University studying percussion under Dr. Jimmie Finnie. Having served as the Percussion Instructor previously, Mr. Boren is excited to return to the Marching Tiger Staff. In addition to his high school duties, Mr. Boren currently teaches general music at Memorial Elementary School and co-directs the Paris District 95 Children's Choir. Mr. Boren is a member of the Illinois Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education. In his spare time, you will find him with his three wonderful kids, 2 dogs, or working on his next building project.

Zach Casad
Color Guard Instructor
From Terre Haute, Indiana, Mr. Zach Casad serves as the Color Guard Instructor for the Marching Tigers and Beacon Brigade. Mr. Casad also serves as the Assistant Color Guard Director at West Vigo High School, and has 14 years of experience with guard activity.
