About Us

The Paris High School band program has a long and rich history of excellence dating back to A. Austin Harding.  The PHS band department strives to provide every student with an opportunity to gain musical proficiency and a truly aesthetic satisfaction of music, so that they may better understand, enjoy, and participate in musical activities for the rest of their lives. With a focus on continual self-improvement, students cultivate the skills necessary for the development and success of themselves and the group. In addition, the PHS band department strives to serve our school and community as a role model of outstanding dedication and character.
 
Updates
Congrats to the Beacon Brigade for placing 1st in Class 3A and winning the Best Colorguard, Percussion, General Effect, Visual, and Music captions at the Effingham Marching Hearts Invitational.  They were also name Grand Campions!
